Does my child need any prior experience in sports?
Kids of all fitness and ability levels are welcome! Class curriculum is designed to suit both and budding athletes and recreation fitness enthusiasts. Under the close supervision of a certified coach, participants develop their coordination and agility in a fun and supportive environment. Training and skills development are tailored to each child’s comfort and ability level.
If your child is new and looking to try a class, we require a brief “Intro to FPK” – this is a 15 minute conversation in person or by phone with one of our staff members to help us guide your child to the best path to start. We offer complimentary classes on specific days/times for safety, learning and confidence-building.
What does my child wear to class?
Kids should wear fitted athletic clothing such as shorts, track pants or leggings, with a t-shirt, tank top or leotard. Tops that can be tucked in are ideal! Please no crop tops or short shorts. Classes require indoor running shoes, however, some Cirque activities are best performed barefoot or in non-slip socks.
What should my child bring to class?
In addition to suitable attire and indoor running shoes, kids are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a healthy lunch or snack. Please note that we are a NUT-FREE facility.
Can I watch my child in action?
Parents are welcome to watch class from our mezzanine or lobby area. The mezz features comfortable seating and tables for siblings in need of space to finish homework.
Do you offer childcare?
FirePower Kids does not provide childcare. We offer a variety of youth programming to keep your kids active!
Do classes need to be booked in advance?
Yes! All classes must be reserved in advance. This ensures that the Coach-Student ratio is optimal for every class.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Siblings receive a 10% discount on Monthly Memberships. This does not apply to pass cards, groups or drop ins.
What is your Membership hold or cancellation policy?
Monthly memberships are month-to-month and may not be shared. All cancellations, holds or changes to your membership require 30 days notice in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org . Memberships are eligible for holds up to a maximum of two months. Upon expiry, holds are not eligible for membership cancellation, and are subject to the 30 days cancellation requirement conditions.
Current members who cancel and re-enroll are subject to a $20 re-enrollment fee. We do not issue refunds or exchanges on pass cards. There are no make ups or credits for missed classes.
