NO CLASSES WEDNESDAY MARCH 15th! 2017 CIRCUS PROGRAM STAFFING UPDATE: INTRODUCING GLORY!
Wednesday, March 8 marked Marsha Kennington’s last day with us for a while, as Marsha will be tending to some important family commitments. We’re sure you all agree that Family First is more than just a cute expression. We send Marsha our love and biggest thanks, and look forward to having her back at FPK in the future.
Along with our dedicated circus enthusiasts, of course, and a newcomer to FirePower Kids, aerialist and coach Glory Dearling. Glory will be coaching circus on Wednesdays starting March 22.
Glory is an performer and aerialist specializing in aerial hoop, aerial silks, acro dance and partner balancing. She began training in gymnastics and competitive acro dance when she was 10 years old, which inspired her career in circus and performance arts. She has always been a teacher at heart and is a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, gymnastics coach and handstand and aerial strength trainer. She loves teaching classes and working with individual clients. She has had client success with students from many different physical backgrounds, including elderly individuals, children, and athletes. Her training in theatre performance and directing lends to her outgoing personality, and creativity in her lesson plans. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the progression of her students and helping them achieve their goals.
Please note that due to this staffing change, circus classes on Wednesday, March 15 are cancelled.
Join us in welcoming Glory to FirePower Kids on March 22!
